There are many people out desperate for more money. Unfortunatly, most of them are desperate for a lot of money very fast. Thousands of internet sites prey on these people. In fact, these sites are around because their owners also want to get rich quick. A good example of some of the scam sites are the “get paid to…” sites. According to these you can get paid to take surveys, read e-mails, surf the internet, or just about anything where they can cram your computer full of ads and pay you 1/1000 of a cent for each one.

Just think about this… if you knew how to make money without working hard or for a long time would you really want to tell other people your secret? I doubt it. Trying to profit through the internet is not a free ticket. You need to learn to do things on your own and work for success.

Probably the simplist way to make money on the internet is to sell a product. However, before you can do this you need a domain name, a host and a product. Domain names and hosts are fairly cheap. Sites like yahoo offer hosting and domain name business services that even people with no webamster experience can easily use for little money. In contrast a product can be expensive. You will need to decide what you want to sell and then buy an inventory for the product. Buying your inventory also requires that you find a supplier. Once you find a supplier they will most likely be very helpful and want to help your new business.

After this comes promotion. Nobody will buy from you if they can’t find your site. Submitting to product info to price comparison sites can get a lot of sales. If you price your product lower than every one else you will definatly get some sales. You can also promote your entire site by advertising. Advertising on the internet requires a great deal of sorting through the scam sites. Most people will waste money on bad advertising even after the work to find legitamate places to advertise. Webmaster forums can help to get through this because you can ask other webmasters what has and hasn’t worked for them to avoid mistakes others have made.

Once you find a way to successfully promote your business the money really does often come quick and with little work.

To a lot of people, Network Marketing seems an arduous task. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Networking can be very rewarding and you can have fun while learning how to make money at home.

Advertising can be accomplished in many different ways. Car stickers to sign posts and beer mats have been used consistently. Business cards coveniently placed in Hotels, Taxi Ranks, Airport departure lounges and hundreds of other suitable venues have produced good results. Making money online doesn’t have to be pursued online.

To make money on the Internet, you just have to communicate through all the known mediums available. Be proud of what you represent and make sure that others know you are proud of your business. If you aren’t proud of it, then go find something else that you can be proud of representing.

You do not need a highly priced business to make money on the internet. In fact, the lower the price, the more interest your business will receive.

Now this is where people go astray … Network Marketing is about leverage. It is not about signing up thousands of people in your first week. It’s about finding just a few people who find a few people … and so on.

Remember, the drop out rate for highly priced businesses are substantially more than for the lower priced options. Affordability is a key factor in retaining your associates and your associates are the key factors that allow you to make money at home. Looking after, supporting and mentoring those associates should be your prime purpose in life. They are the people who will ensure your success.

In some businesses, you will not find any support whatsoever. Those are the ones to avoid. Also take a look and see if there is a good marketing system in place. If there isn’t, you could run up a sizeable bill in marketing your business with external resources.

Remember, the whole point in starting and maintaining your business is to make money, not to spend it on resources that should have come with the business model.

While automation plays a part in todays marketing environment, it is the personal touches that make the sale. That follow up phone call to say hello, makes a whole lot of difference between success and failure.

To make money online, you have to communicate with those who have taken an interest in your business and you have to assure them that you are the person they need as a sponsor. Are you that dependable person?

Copyright 2006 Donovan Baldwin Just to get off to an honest start, the title of this article was intended to catch people who were hoping to find an “easy” way to make money on the internet or anywhere else. To clarify a little further, I presently work as an internet marketer, make about $2,000 a week from it, work about 20 hours a week at it, and have been doing it for several years now. That sounds pretty easy doesn’t it? A hundred dollars an hour, work when and where I feel like it, take any day or week off whenever I want, get up when I want, “go to work” when I want. It’s a sweet deal, no doubt. But, let me clear something up right now. It took me about 4 years to reach that point. During that time, I would often work at my job all day and then work past midnight on the internet, chasing that elusive dollar. The first time I ever really realized that I COULD make money this way was in the year 2000, when I got a commission check for $25.00. Two years ago, I was excited to have made $7,000 in a year, and I was still working that full time job. So the other day, or last week, you were cruising the internet and somebody had a web site that promised that if you signed up with them, you could make a lot of money, without much work…and fast! Oh, it does happen. I’ve seen it happen once or twice, but people DO win the lottery sometimes. For most of us who have achieved a modicum of success on the internet, a lot of sweat equity, or a lot of investment was required. I often use the term “accidental tuition” to describe what it cost me in terms of time and money that I tossed out the window in pursuit of an “easy way to make money on the internet”. I am not alone in this. Line up a bunch of successful internet marketers, and the stories will start flying about the dumb things they paid good money for and the hours and hours of work they put into unsuccessful projects. As time passed, I, and the others, learned what DIDN’T work, what NOT to buy, and what program, system, or theory was just flat WRONG. And even now, just as in any brick and mortar business, we sometimes find that what worked yesterday or last year isn’t working any more. What worked so well for Charlie’s business didn’t work as well for Laura’s. We continually have to try new or different ways to improve and grow our businesses, just like anybody else out there, whether they’re on the internet or in a store downtown. Sometimes we follow the wrong path and pay a little more “accidental tuition”. I don’t want to discourage you. Here’s a little reality bite: It is 8 PM on the last day of my work week (which I measure 7 days at a time, but work as I wish), and it is 7:30 PM. At midday two days ago, I had made $1,749.43 in commissions for the week. At this moment, I have made $2,421.16…that I am aware of. That’s an income of $671.73 in about two and one half days, and does not take into account programs that are also producing income for me, but do not have the reporting capabilities to keep me that up to date. The money is there, but if you are not willing to WORK for it, it will never be yours. To get this kind of income, I had to try a lot of things, experiment a lot, and fail many times. I sometimes wish I could go back to the days I was starting with the knowledge that I have now. Six years ago, I did not know how to build web pages with html. I learned by bits and pieces, and three years ago I could build basic web pages that helped me get to that $7,000 annual income I mentioned. By last year, although my web pages were still simple, I had learned a lot of tricks to make them more effective, and my income grew to where it is now. Recently, I uncovered a series of page building and internet marketing tools that are helping me to grow my internet business even more. It is February, 2006, as I write, and this year is going to be my best yet. I think I’ve already gotten across the idea that success on the internet will probably not come overnight. You will have to buckle down, work at it, scrape your knuckles and get grease on your hands, figuratively speaking, to be successful with whatever internet business you acquire and build. It will take time. That brings me to the second point. You may be someone who already has an internet business that is not successful as yet. You may be someone who has a business or product and you are thinking of putting it on the internet. You may be someone who knows that money CAN be made on the internet, but you are not sure what business to get into or how to promote and grow it once you are in it. There is no guarantee of success for any business, on the internet or in that store downtown. However, if you wish to be successful, and if you have decided to commit the time and effort this new enterprise will demand, and if you are willing to stay the course, try to find a business that pleases you or that you understand. For example, years ago I tried to sell printing services. Although the services were very good and reasonably priced, the whole thing bored me. I couldn’t get enthusiastic about it, and after a while just gave up. A few years later I became involved with a dental plan. It was an excellent plan. I believed in it, saved a lot of money with it, watched other people save a lot of money, learned all the things to say, but just couldn’t see myself selling dental plans. My friend, Ed, became a millionaire with it. I quit after 6 months, and only made a few dollars. Since 1970, I have been passionately interested in health, fitness, and weight loss. In 2000, I became affiliated with a major weight loss program for which I had a great deal of respect, and I loved it! It was something I would have recommended to a friend, family member, or total stranger even if I wasn’t getting paid. Since then, I have found other programs and products that interest me greatly, and am using them to generate a lot of income. A lot of people are going to invite you, even entice and lure you, to sign up with their program. Make sure that it is a program that you respect and WANT to be affiliated with, and one that you would be happy to recommend to anyone even if you were not going to get paid for that recommendation. Do not jump into the first program that offers to make money for you, because you will have to be the one causing the income to happen, and it is more likely to happen if you have chosen a program you can be proud of. There are also a few internet marketing training programs around that weren’t as well-known when I was starting in 2000, and investing a few dollars in them now can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars later.

You know… for a few years even I doubted that network marketing was a real business… Sure, I read about how to make money at home and how easy it was to make money online.

Burning the candle at both ends… listening to seminars that told me all about residual income, how to achieve the status of network marketing professional, reading e-books that told me how great life is at the top…Sound familiar?

But hey… Hold On! How do you get there?

I have joined an online business but my upline does not respond to my questions… the company are brain dead and I do not really know what I am doing exactly… is that how people make money on the Internet? Is that any way to start off in network marketing? Will that keep me in the business? It certainly did not.

Then along came another business and a support team that I never even contemplated could exist anywhere on the Internet. That was many years ago… but still exists today.

If I ever had any advice to pass on to people who are considering network marketing as a profession, then it would be to take a good look at what support is available, before even thinking about making money online.

Next, have a look at how the company is structured. Do not ever sign up for anything until you have checked it out very thoroughly. How open to scrutiny is the business you are considering? If there are any adverse conditions before you have a look, run for cover and take your money with you!

Now… back to the subject. Is the ability to make money online for real?

Yes, it is. I would ask anyone to dispute that fact. So many are disgruntled by their failure in network marketing but how many actually stood the test of time and worked at it as hard as they would with a boss standing over them?

How many worked the same hours as they would in a job?

I can honestly tell you that not many do the above and most have higher Online expectations than the network marketing company can deliver, or the average person can hope to accomplish.

Building a downline is not easy but can be achieved with the right people duplicating your learning process and getting the right online support.

Network Marketing is the only way to produce a lasting residual income. To make money at home, without having to find the funds that would normally be required to pay you a similar amount each month from a large investment.

Why do people give up this retirement plan so easily? Why do people work 40 plus hours a week just to pay the bills and yet do nothing to make money on the Internet and build a residual income for themselves?

Why is a process that takes 40 years to accomplish considered a better alternative than a network marketing plan that can accomplish this task within 4-5 years, with a similar amount of work?

Yes, there are some scoundrel companies out there. That is why due diligence is so important. How many people actually do any? Then they wonder why they are failing at it…

Would you buy something from someone that you could not see, could not talk to and had no visible representation, no credibility and no experience in what they were doing or trying to sell you? No, you would not, yet it happens on the Internet every day!

Yes, network marketing is a real business and you can make money on the Internet. It produces real full-time residual incomes for thousands of people worldwide but you must choose the right business with the right people and take the time to build your dream of Financial Freedom.

Every time you think of quitting, stop and look at the alternatives…

All people see, is what it is costing them. Does that ever amount into what you would pay for a franchise or alternative business? No, it does not. Whatever you may think of network marketing, it is still the only way that the small guy can achieve financial freedom and success.

Millions of people are making their money at home. Do they need expensive premises and huge overheads? No, they make money online, on the Internet.

After the disgusting elements have passed, a new dawn will brighten our era and with it will come a new dimension in the way that the world does business. Many will make money at home, who never thought they could.

In recent years, the Internet has experienced an amazing transformation. The aftermath of the MLM fraudsters, who gave our Industry such a bad name is now disappearing. As law enforcement agencies merge and the world becomes a much smaller place through the advancement of technology, their schemes now get exposed very quickly.

That is great news for our Industry and now making money on the Internet is back where it belongs - In the pockets of honest people who work their online businesses. It is good that an Industry which started so well, is now getting back on track.

Many now famous names, started out by networking their products and services. Something that our industry can be proud of accomplishing. They made their money on the internet and many other large companies are now considering affiliate programs to promote their products and services.

The new technological advancements in the Industry are now making marketing much easier for both the novice and professional marketer. Now anyone can make money on the Internet by using advanced automation and the companies who produce this expensive software are not likely to run off with the funds.

Some of the most successful businesses in existence today started in a box room, bedroom or garage. It isn’t how you start out to make money at home that is important. What really matters is that you had the courage to begin.

With a home based business, you are your own boss, or your own worst enemy. It is now your responsibility to do things that will build your business, instead of someone elses. To make money online, you must be online. Basic but true information…

You now have what millions of others do not have, the flexibility to work your own hours. Although you may think life will become so much better, you will need to put in more hours than normal to start things rolling. Then to keep it rolling…

Sure, making money on the Internet may seem easy but if you do not focus, or do things correctly, you will soon be looking for another job. Make sure there is a market for the product or service you are promoting. Be cautious before you invest any money, because things on the Internet are not always as true as they seem.

When you are working at home, you can arrange your work schedule around your family, without worrying about sacrificing either. Just think about the benefits of working and making money online from home and the freedom of setting your own schedule. No commuting back and forth in traffic. No dressing up for the workplace.

Another incentive is that if you become successful and you worked with a large group of people who still have a job they hate, your own success would certainly get them interested as well.

He makes money on the Internet - Works at home - Does not have to bother getting up early - Takes time off when he pleases… Is that jealousy or an accolade to achievement?

The actions you perform today, will determine your tomorrow.

How is your tomorrow looking?

How To Make Money On The Internet

December 23rd, 2008

Being the owner of an online business is one of the best feelings I know. The startup costs are very small in comparison to starting a “dirt world” business. Before the Internet, setting up in business was a high risk activity. You could invest thousands in an idea that you really believe in only to find and nobody else believes in it. I’m sure you’ve heard the statistics : ninety five percent of new startups fail. Not a great figure, it has to be said. I’m not saying that starting an Internet business is likely to succeed any more than a regular business but the risks involved are much smaller. You could start up fifty online businesses for the amount of money you may have invested in a real world business. That is quite a powerful fact. On the Internet you have room to fail. You just have to pick yourself up and try something else. Another reason setting up an Internet business is a smart decision these days, is the fact that more and more people are parting with their cash online every single day. No, I’m not talking about credit card fraud, I’m talking about consumers starting to prefer the online experience to traipsing around a shopping center arguing with their partner! Or is that just me? Many people are starting to trust online transactions and this can only continue. As a matter of fact, buying products online is a much safer activity than handing over your credit card in your favorite restaurant. So you trust that guy behind the counter do you? This increase in online transactions is good news for you if you’re looking to start an online business. In 2005, for the first time, the Internet advertising spend overtook traditional media advertising. This is a hugely significant fact. Comparatively, companies spent more advertising online than they did placing adverts in print media, television and radio. This means that companies are beginning to see the power of the Internet and what it can do for their business. Furthermore, a fantastic benefit to doing business online is the fact that in most cases, selling instantly deliverable products on the Internet such as ebooks and software provides a passive income for years to come. You set the business up once and it pays you over and over again. Does that beat working the 9-5 for forty years? ummmm … you bet it does. Of course you do need to maintain your business, or businesses but compared to an offline business this pales into insignificance. You can easily maintain ten, twenty or even fifty online businesses every day. I should know, I have done so. Something else to think about is that many investment companies are now looking online and they are buying web properties in ever increasing numbers. For them it’s a no brainer. If you can demonstrate that you are putting a certain amount of money in and realizing a certain return then you have a quantifiable business. Businesses which can prove they are in profit are selling for big money online at the moment. This is only set to continue. Recently I saw one website sell for upwards of forty grand. This website has only been online for six months but the owner knew enough to be able to instantly create a profitable business. Forty thousand dollars! For you, maybe this is a lot of money but to an investment firm this is nothing. Especially if the business can create a thousand percent profit which many online businesses can easily do. It’s an investment firm’s dream come true. Why should they have to rely on uncertain and downright dodgy investments when they can buy web properties which are almost guaranteed to turn a profit. In the years to come you will see many valuable web properties being bought and sold online. Now is the time to build your business. In 2005 one guy sold four web sites for over five million dollars. He had owned these web sites for just over one year. He had been able to show a consistent profit over the twelve months and so had created a very valuable web property. Five million dollars may sound like a lot but these websites will have the potential to make way more than that over time. By the way, these were one or two page web sites. You can easily create businesses for around one hundred dollars. You will have to invest another couple of hundred in advertising but if you do it right you could be turning a profit inside thirty days. Keep records for three to six months and sell your business for a massive profit. The best bit is, once you have sold your business you can do it all over again. You can even do it in the same niche if you like! So now there is no doubt left in your mind that setting up an online business is what you want to do .. how do you do it? This is where the fun begins! There’s so much information out there that you will almost certainly suffer from information overload at some point. We’ve all been there. However, most of this info is filler and misinformation. There are only three or four genuine tactics which you need to know about in order to profit handsomely online. To get more info on these strategies please see the resource box at the end of this article. Now go forth and profit!

For many website owners who do not have a product or service of their own to sell, it can be hard to make money online. Sure, you could sell advertising space, but unless you attract a large amount of traffic to your site, nobody will pay you a pretty penny to have you advertise their site. So, you don’t have any product or service to sell and advertising wont bring in an income worth celebrating over. What do you do now? The solution is simple: Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate marketing is a simple concept and millions of websites rely on affiliate marketing to bring in the bulk of their sales. Basically, you try and sell other people’s products for a commission. Commission can be anywhere from 5 to 75 percent of the price of the product. Generally speaking, your software, information products, and services provide the highest rate of commission. It’s easy finding products in those categories that provide 50 to 75 percent commission! The most effective way to convert your traffic to sales is to make sure that the products and services you are advertising on your website target your visitors. If your site deals with automobiles, trying to market someone else’s cook book will fail and if I could take a bet, generate zero income. Another helpful tip is to make sure your advertisement doesn’t look like an advertisement. People do not visit your site to pay any attention to the banner ads placed everywhere. They visit your site for information on what you provide. If your site deals with online dating, write several reviews on different online dating services out there on the Internet with links to the services. So exactly how does this work? How do these people know that you are the one responsible for the sales lead and not somebody else? When you sign up as an affiliate for different products and services, you are given a special link to place on your website. When one of your visitors clicks your link, the website you are referring visitors to knows that the visitor came from your site. Then, if the visitor purchases that website’s product or service, you are credited for the sale and earn the commission. When looking for a product to market as an affiliate, visit some websites selling products or services that relate to your website’s information. Many of these sites will have affiliate programs and have a link placed on their site with information on how you can sign up to be an affiliate with them. Many of these sites use commission services like Commission Junction and Clickbank to take care of all the commissions, so it might be a good idea to go ahead and sign up with these services. Once signed up with them, you will find many other products and services to promote relating to your website’s content. Affiliate marketing along with selling advertising on your website (check out Google Adsense) is an amazing and very profitable way of generating income for your site. It cost nothing and there is no inventory to keep. It’s all pure profit. What could be better?

Writing a book is an effort that not everyone takes pleasure in. Creating software takes special skills and patience. If you can’t write and can’t program, does it mean you can’t start an online business? Absolutely not. Luckily, there is a wonderful thing called Reprint Rights. You don’t have to write a word - just purchase the resell rights to someone else’s work and start an instant business. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What are Reprint Rights? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I first learned about reprint rights from Ken Evoy’s “Make Your Knowledge Sell” and thought, “what an amazing concept!” You don’t have to know how to write, or spend months creating a quality product. You can just buy the rights to it and keep 100% of the profits, without paying any royalties or reporting your sales figures to anyone. Compared to any other business, launching an information selling company has a very low start up cost. The key is to choose a product that fits your interests, is of high quality and in demand. The rest will be up to your desire to succeed and persistence. If you already have a product to sell, find a product with reprint rights that would make a good bonus, addition, or a back-end for your business. For example, if you are selling a $10 report about successful golf playing, a good back-end product could be titled “Advanced Techniques of the World’s Best Golf Players” priced at $50 or higher (forgive me if I am way off - I know nothing about golf ;-). You could also work backwards - first find a good product you want to purchase the rights to, then write a report that would serve as an introduction/sales letter to it. Then give it away or sell it at a low price. That’s what I did with my “First Business Web Site in 10 days!”. After I finished writing it, I created a short version of this book (and turned a 120 pages manual into a small 15-page book) and started giving it away on my web site under a different title (”The Absolute Beginner’s Guide To Starting a Web Site”). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How to make money with a product you purchased the rights to ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Many people buy rights to a product but never do anything to make it a success. You MUST treat it as your own product to make it profitable. - First, choose a quality product (purchase a copy for yourself first to review) that fits into your interests, or your existing web site theme - Make sure you are absolutely impressed with it so you could write a great ad copy (though many products already come with a sample sales copy) - Create a simple web site using an easy-to-use web editor - Find a way to take payments online (many people use inexpensive services of ClickBank, iBill, and OrderButton) - Promote it (subscribe to free marketing e-zines and experiment to find the most effective ways to advertise it) While you don’t have to create a product (what a great shortcut!) you still have to promote it to sell. There is plenty of free publications and forums on the Internet that can teach you how to do it, if you can devote 1-2 hours each day until the desired level of income is reached. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Buying cheap rights vrs. Expensive ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first time I purchased resell rights, I could only afford a $49.95 package. The deal looked great! I was getting over 25 books to own and resell as my own. Only a few weeks later did I realize that everyone and their dog are selling the same books. The products were still great and if you purchase them for the sake of learning business and online marketing, it’s a bargain. After purchasing this package I sold it to at least 10 happy customers, thus making $450.00 on a $49.95 investment. To build a successful business reselling these books, though, would be very difficult since hundreds of other people are selling it on their web sites. Yes, $49.95 is very affordable to anyone who wants to start an online business. But the cheaper the reprint rights are, the more people are able to afford them, thus you will have more competitors selling the same product. So if you find the price is a bit steep, think of the advantages: not every average “joe” who might not even be serious about business will purchase these rights. And if you do, you will have only a few competitors and your marketing efforts will pay off much better. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Where to find products with reprint rights ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Many authors, especially new ones, have never thought of offering resell rights to their products. If you find a product that you like and want to resell, contact the author and make him or her an offer. Make sure it is a high quality product that you would want to purchase for yourself. For example, I was contacted several times by my past customers who so much liked my products that they wanted to own the rights to it. This is a great indicator that you will succeed selling this product: you read it, you liked it, you know it, you can write a great sales copy to sell it from your heart. One other good way to find reprint rights to quality products is by going to a Search Engine and typing a word or a phrase on a subject you want to focus on. When browsing through results, pick out web sites that sell a product you are interested in AND have low traffic. Use Alexa (free from alexa.com) to find out each site’s traffic rating, which is a good indicator of how the site is doing. Webmasters of low traffic sites might sell reprint rights to their products cheaper than any popular site. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Important questions to ask before purchasing reprint rights ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am not going to call myself an expert on reprint rights. But after selling almost a dozen rights to three of my products, I learned a lot about the subject. Here are the questions you should ask before you decide on a product to purchase: 1. How many other people will be allowed to sell this product? In other words, will there be a limit to how many resell rights are available? A standard number for information products is 20 resellers. More than that might create market saturation and too much competition between the resellers. Also, every marketing strategy that you implement might be “borrowed” by your competitors and hurt your sales. 2. How many copies of this product have been sold? The answer will simply tell you if this product has been popular and selling well. While it is difficult to say what number of sold copies will qualify a product as “popular”, remember that even if it is a brand new product (e.g. my oldest book is only 7 months old) it can still be a winner. The author may be just entering the arena and is not known on the Internet yet, or hasn’t been putting enough effort to create steady sales. For example, as soon as I was done with my 1st product, I immediately started creating my 2nd one which turned in fact to be two more new products - I know, tell me I need to focus :-) - so I didn’t have time to get out and actively promote my 1st book. 3. Are you allowed to modify the product and/or reproduce it in a different format? Most e-books are made into an executable (EXE) or an Acrobat Reader (PDF) file format. But if you want to put this product on a CD, or publish it as a hard copy, you might need a special permission from the author first. Ask if you are limited to a certain format or are you free to make it into anything you wish. 4. Can you sell the reprint rights to this book? Many products out there include the right to resell the rights. In other words, you pay $49.95 for a book, then turn around and sell this book to someone else. That someone else can do the same thing, and so on. As you understand, this technique will reach market saturation very fast (the rights are affordable and you can resell them, too). But many products of high quality do not include the right to resell the rights. You need to purchase such rights, called Master Reprint Rights, separately at a higher price. While it is not affordable to everyone, it certainly limits the number of resellers to only the serious ones. 5. Will the author/seller offer you technical and marketing support? Make sure the person you purchase the rights from will keep in touch with you and help you get started with the product. It doesn’t mean creating a web site for you and writing your ad copy. Simply being there in case a question or a problem arises is all you need. Especially so if you purchased the rights from the author: after all, he or she knows this product the best and is the only one who can answer all the questions that you (or your customers) might have. Once you purchase the rights to a product, get right to it. Don’t waste any time setting up your web site and starting to sell it. And if you are fast enough, you might make your first sale within hours after purchasing the rights.
